The Phil Dill Boats Story

Phil Dill Boats is a full-service marine retailer committed to delivering the very best boat buying and ownership experience for our customers. Phil Dill Boats has not always been a retail marine dealership, however. The company actually began as a sheet metal fabricator and manufacturer serving the drive-in theatre concession in the early 1950’s. The business was then known as the General Manufacturing Company.

In 1953, Phil Dill was commissioned to build a line of aluminum boats called Cruiser Craft. After three years of successful manufacturing, Phil turned his interest to retailing, and as they say, the rest is history!

For three generations, the Dill family has served the boating needs of the DFW Metroplex.

In 2010, Phil Dill Boats joined the Singleton Marine Group, which then created OneWater Marine in 2014. As part of OneWater Marine, you get the benefits that come from a national organization: buying power, utilization of proven best practices, and additional resources that introduce innovative new programs and technologies unavailable through other dealerships. However, with third-generation Dill family members still working in the dealership, Phil Dill Boats still maintains a very family-oriented feel.
