I recently bought a boat through your dealership. Our experience through the sales process was great. Tom Chambless was great. Tom Chambless did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. In saying all of that, we did encounter a problem after delivery. The boat for whatever reason was taking on water on Father's Day, the day we got the boat. It was a terrible dilemma because we were in the middle of the lake. Fortunately we did make it back and contacted Tom. Tom was very apologetic and sent out a service person. Unfortunately the day got worse. I had my 63 year old father on the boat. He is about 50% disabled, and I guess had gotten too hot trying to get the boat back into our slip and got sick. That was when Bruce, your service manager showed up and pretty much saved the day. He not only got the boat taken care of but he also helped my father get out of the boat and back into his car. I cannot thank him enough for the help and concern he showed and continued to show in making sure the boat was fixed to our satisfaction. You have a treat team of people and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to your dealership. Thanks again!

This is our 3rd boat with Phil Dill, before we bought this boat we went to Marine Max and to the Slalom Shop just to check out their products. We found both places to be arrogant, some directly or indirectly lied to us and in short they both made no real effort to do any kind of business.
Our two previous boats have been from Phil Dill Boats and we have never had any real issues with either one of these boats, if we did the Phil Dill service department have always been helpful and reliable. In my mind after seeing the comparable Sea Ray and Cobalt boats, they have nothing on Phil Dill boats. Marine Max and the Slalom Shop can keep their boats and their unfounded arrogance.
We bought both of our prior boats from the Phil Dill dealership, specifically from Delinda Davis. Delinda has always been warm and friendly and above all else honest and professional. When we called Delinda about our trade in and their current inventory she called back within the hour and honestly informed us of our options. She had the perfect boat picked out for us and she had all the numbers on the trade in and on this boat. She played no games with us and made buying this boat a joy instead of a chore. Should we ever find a need for another boat, there will be no need to shop around, we will go straight to Ms. Davis and to the Phil Dill dealership.
I cannot remember the name of the finance guy, but I can tell you that he had the financing set up within about 30 minutes and when we came to pick up the boat, he had all paperwork ready and in an efficient manner. The same with the Demo person, although he knew that we were previous boat owners and are familiar with their boats, he cut no corners and went through the entire boat explaining every detail. So as far as our rating we give Phil Dill and their staff an above excellent rating.
Our first weekend on the boat, we had several boat owners come over and take a tour of our boat, they were very impressed with the boat. It will be our pleasure not only to show off our new boat but to also let anyone interested in buying a boat to recommend Ms. Davis and the Phil Dill dealership, the product and the ease of ownership was outstanding. Phil Dill and Delinda Davis are a class act.

I just wanted to make you aware of the recent experience that I had with your service department. The wash down pump on my boat suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago so I contacted Michelle Tate on a Saturday morning and she said if I would bring it by that morning she would have a service technician look at it while I waited. I did this and it was determined that the pump was bad and a new one would be ordered and covered by the warranty. Since I live in Bedford this was a great convenience since I did not have to make multiple trips and would still have the use of the boat while waiting on the part to come in.
The pump came in this week and a friend of mine took the boat to the dealership yesterday to leave the boat for repair. I thought the service department was open until 6 pm which was my fault. It was about 5:45 when the boat arrived and my friend was greeted by Bruce Waggoner who asked if he preferred to leave it or would he like to wait while it was repaired. Bruce had a technician replace the pump and it only took about 30 minutes. Again this saved multiple trips and I still have the use of the boat.
I could not be more pleased with my experience with your service department and the original purchase from Delinda. Another friend of mine is starting to look at a new boat for next year and I will certainly recommend your dealership.

During the first week of September, my wife and I had the pleasure of working with Toby Blackney regarding the purchase of a new Yamaha SX210. We were both impressed with his product knowledge, polite manners and easy going personality. Toby answered all of our questions, returned phone calls promptly, and took us for a great demo ride on the boat. The Yamaha sold itself, but wouldn't have done so without Toby.
